Savita Vanessa Franklin

From an early age, Savita immersed herself in various artistic expressions, naturally uncovering her passion for movement and dance. Raised in a creative home with a mother in theatre and a father who was a dancer, she thrived in an environment that celebrated free expression and a love for the performing arts. Although she initially rebelled against attending ballet classes as a child, enthusiasm for dance flourished through jazz, hip hop/street dance, and acting during her teenage years.

During her time studying and living in Northern California, she found herself in bohemian circles where she was influenced by the world of circus arts, tribal fusion bellydance and more free, contemporary and alternative dance forms throughout her late teens and early 20s. Her extensive travels through India also sparked a love for yoga and spiritual dance. Later moving to London she discovered the world of cabaret and and fell in love with the creativity and freedom of it, ultimately evolving her own eclectic style of storytelling, dance and performance.
